7 Days Camel trekking from Casablanca to Marrakech

Day 01 : Casablanca – Rabat – Meknes – Volubilis – Fes

Pick up from your Hotel in Casablanca or the airport and depart to the cultural capital of Morocco , the city of Fes. A stop is a must at the capital of the kingdom the city of Rabat to visit Kasbah of Oudaya and the Hassan Tower. Then we continue our road to join the city of Meknes where you will visit Bab Mansour Gate and Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. Lunch in Meknes then continue to visit the Roamn ancient village of Volubilis. After the visit we continue our way via the green landscapes of Saiss Hill to join the city of Fes. Overnight in Fes.

Day 02 : Full day exploring Fes

After breakfast you will be joined by an official local guide, who will show you the city and its historical monuments “Fes El Bali the old medina”, “Al Qraouine University” “Jewish Quarter”…etc. Fes is the fourth largest city in Morocco and also used to serve as one of its former capitals during the reign ship of the Idrissis dynasty, its original founders. You will enjoy walking its narrow streets and through its huge ancient gates. The Medina of Fes, Fes el Bali is believed to be the largest car-free urban area in the world as the people of the Medina use only mules or small motorcycles to get merchandise inside the medina. Overnight in Fes.

Day 03 : Fes – Ifrane – Midlet – Ziz Valley – Merzouga

After breakfast in your riad or Hotel, you will leave towards the southeast following the Caravan roads to Merzouga. During this journey you’ll experience glimpses of the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stopping at the Cedar forest, the largest one in Morocco, over the Middle Atlas Mountains– where you will sight Barbary macaques. After lunch in Midelt, you will continue through the large open high desert, and notice how the scenery changes to reveal hints of the desert as you approach the city ErRachidia. Your journey continues along the luxuriant Ziz Valley and the Tafilalet date palm grove, famous for date cultivation. This area is the cradle of the Alaouite dynasty – the current ruling royal family in Morocco. You’ll arrive to Merzouga in the early afternoon, and then you will camel trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi to spend a night under the nomad’s tents camp in the middle of the desert. Overnight at the desert camp.

Day 04 : Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Boumalne Dades

Early in the morning, your camel guide will wake you up to watch what well may be the best sunrise of your life and then you will trek back to the village to the Hotel. In the way back you couldn’t fail to appreciate the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi sand dunes – changing with the light as the day progresses. After breakfast and shower in your Hotel, you’ll leave for Rissani and Todra gorges – the highest, narrowest gorges in Morocco. After lunch we’ll drive through the Dades Valley, where you’ll see the majestic sand castles and the amazing rock formations known as “monkey toes”. Night will be spent in a Hotel inside Dades Valley.Overnight in Dades

Day 05 : Dades Valley – Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou – Tizi n’Tichka Pass – Marrakesh

After breakfast we will depart to Marrakesh via the Rose Valley including a stop at a rose distillation Unit in order to get a clear idea of how rose productions are manufactured, then continue by passing by the Skoura Palm grove and the road of 1000 Kasbahs, then we continue to join Hollywood of Africa, the city of Ouarzazate, very well known for being the spot of the international movie makers and in which famous movies were filmed such as “ The Mummy”,” Prince of Persia”, “Gladiator” and so many other movies. Then we continue our way to the famous UNESCO World Heritage site Ksar or Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou. A very wonderful fortified city that stands at the edge of a hill separated by a running Ounila river. Then we drive via the Atlas Mountains to pass via one of the Morocco amazing roads, the Tichka Pass that stands in 2260m above sea level. Then we will stop for a cup of coffee and a visit to the women Argan oil co-operative. Thereafter, we continue to join the red city of Marrakesh. Overnight in Marrakesh

Day 06 : Exploring Marrakesh

After breakfast, you will enjoy a morning guided tour of Marrakesh “the Red City of Morocco”. Your guide will ensure that you see all the sites with historical and cultural interest, including the Koutoubia Menaret; the Saadian tombs; the beautiful Palace of Bahia and the Ben Youssef Coranic School. Finally, end the morning by walking through the medina alleys -getting a chance to admire all of the different artisans performing their crafts before arriving at the famous Jamaa El Fna Square. Lunch at a restaurant in the new part of Marrakesh. Overnight in Marrakesh

Day 07 :Casablanca Airport transfer

After breakfast in your accommodation we will drive by the freeway to join the Mohammed 5 international airport. Drop off at the airport. End of our services
